This module explains the main types of anxiety conditions within Anxiety Disorders. These conditions involve strong fear, worry, or panic that is difficult to control and affects daily life.


🧠 What are Anxiety Disorders?

Anxiety Disorders are mental health conditions where a person experiences:

  • Excessive worry or fear
  • Physical stress responses (e.g. fast heartbeat)
  • Avoidance of situations
  • Difficulty relaxing or feeling safe

They can affect thinking, emotions, behaviour, and the body.

1. Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
