Mental health is about how we feel,
think, and act.
Sometimes, people can feel unwell in their mind.
This is called mental illness or poor mental health.

Feeling sad all the time
Getting angry or upset easily
Feeling hopeless or worthless

Finding it hard to focus or remember

Thinking things that don’t seem real or

Staying away from friends or family
Not enjoying things, you used to like
Sleeping too much or not sleeping at all
Eating more or less than usual
Using alcohol or drugs
When life is going well a lot, we are
likely to make good choices, eat healthily, exercise etc.
When life is not going well, we are
likely to make not good choices, eat unhealthy, very little or too much , exercise
very little or not at all.
