Activity 1: Sort the Words

Sort into:

  • Noun

  • Verb

  • Pronoun

  • Adjective

Words:

  • Jack

Activity 2: Build a Sentence

Words:

  • Jack

  • to

  • London

Write:

Jack went to London.


Activity 3: Add Information (Adjectives)

Question:

What was the weather like?

Answer:

It was hot.

Add:

The weather was hot.


Activity 4: Add Detail

Words:

  • Jack

Write:

Jack wore a blue t-shirt.


Activity 5: Build a Better Sentence

Add more detail:

Activity 6: Create a Short Story

Write 2–4 sentences:
