✍️ Introducing Poetry 2015
Happy New Year—welcome to 2015.
It’s hard to believe
how quickly time passes.
Each year seems faster
than the last—
especially as we grow older.
This year,
I want to try something different.
I want to create
three poetry spaces:
- For children
- For teenagers
- For adults
But this is not about limits.
You can read any page you choose.
Poetry is for everyone.
I know it’s not always easy
to please everyone.
Sometimes my writing
may feel simple,
or even dull.
But these words
are honest.
They are thoughts
that come into my mind—
thoughts I cannot always
say out loud.
That is the beauty of poetry.
It allows us
to express
what we feel inside—
and to share it
with others.
Whether you agree or not,
your voice matters too.
π§ What Is Poetry?
Poetry is language.
Poetry is expression.
Poetry is thoughts
from the mind—
and feelings
from within.
It is a way
of communicating
without speaking.
A way of writing
what cannot always
be said.
Poetry is art—
like drawing
or painting—
but with words.
π Happy New Year 2015
2014 has passed.
2015 begins.
A new year—
cold, grey,
and quiet.
The celebrations fade.
The world slows down.
We wake up
expecting change—
but everything
looks the same.
❄️ Now It’s New Year’s Day
The night before
was loud—
Now the day is still.
People rest.
Recover.
The future feels
unknown.
Close the door
on yesterday—
and face today.
π§️ January Is Here
The wind blows.
Rain falls.
Time moves fast.
Winter feels long—
dark,
heavy.
But spring will come.
The birds will sing again.
π± A New Start
A new year
means a new beginning.
A chance to grow—
to write,
to share,
to create.
Poetry for children.
Poetry for teenagers.
Poetry for adults.
Poetry for everyone.
π I Miss You More Than Just Today
I miss you—
not just today,
but every day.
Even more
when I cannot reach you.
Knowing you are unwell
makes the distance
feel greater.
Love makes time
feel slower.
“Soon”
never feels soon enough.
But one day—
we will meet again.
And it will be worth
the wait.
