🌟 Act 1 – Introduction (Bio Summary)

Act 1 introduces Annie Lewis, a new lecturer teaching a class on disabilities, learning differences, and mental health. The students are all new to the course and to each other.

Scene Summary

Jaiden Jones is the first to arrive. When he enters the classroom, he sees Ben already sitting at a desk.
Jaiden asks Ben:
“Is this the disability class?”
Ben replies that it is.

Jaiden then asks where the lecturer is, but Ben doesn’t know.

A moment later, Annie walks into the room. She introduces herself warmly as the Lecturer for the course.

Ben, curious and direct, asks Annie if she has a disability herself.
Annie openly explains her conditions, showing honesty and confidence.

As she is finishing her explanation, Alex enters the room and overhears the end of the conversation.
Instead of being respectful, Alex rudely questions why Annie is a lecturer when she has disabilities.

Jaiden immediately steps in and confronts Alex, defending Annie and challenging Alex’s judgmental attitude.
