Here is an example of how learning disabilities and mental health are linked.
Try to show empathy by trying to put yourself in the shoes of others. it is not easy to know how you feel unless you face the conditions.
It is even a struggle for parents and families as well even though they know their children or family members.
Like people with Autism and ADHD,
people with Dyslexia and Dyspraxia, and other conditions can also experience Anxiety and Depression.
This is often because they may struggle with everyday skills that many people
take for granted—things like reading, writing, organization, coordination, or
time management.
These difficulties can make people
feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or embarrassed.
Nobody can do everything alone, and
everyone needs help sometimes. But when someone has to rely on others often for
tasks that feel simple to other people, it can affect their self-esteem. They
might feel like a burden, even though they are not.
This can lead to mental health
struggles, especially if they don’t feel supported, accepted, or understood.
