Hi everyone,
Thank you for being here and taking the time to explore this site, whether you're working or studying in the field of learning disabilities and mental health, or you're someone with lived experience, a parent, carer, family member, or simply curious to learn more.
This site has been a passion project for over 18 years – built to support, inform, and connect people across this important field. Over the years, I’ve received some kind feedback here and there, often from students or professionals, but I know many of you visit quietly, reading for your reasons.
Just to say I do not know everything, no one does, some things I do know, other things I have researched.
Any tips on how I can improve this website would be useful to know as well. thank you.
👉 If you ever feel comfortable, I’d love to hear from you.

This new website is linked to Sara Revealed. if you have read Sara Revealed, what do you think of this website compared to Sara Revealed?
I may not be working for the University anymore, but it does not stop me from carrying on writing this website for those in the learning disability and mental health field. I am also working on writing a learning disability and mental health awareness training textbook based on my blog writing. I would be interested if anyone has learned from this website, and if so, what? Thank you for reading it and for your support.
I will also be adding my poetry and my art to this website in the future.
Warm wishes,
– [Sara]
